The exhibition showcases a powerful collection of Art Brut, featuring works that explore themes of the immaterial, death, and the beyond. Curated by expert Lucienne Peiry, it presents the creations of fourteen artists from diverse countries, including Germany, China, France, Ghana, and Switzerland, spanning from the 19th century to today. The pieces challenge conventional norms and offer profound existential reflections through paintings, sculptures, drawings, and embroidery. From prophetic diagrams by Henry Dunant, founder of the Red Cross, to a giant rooster-shaped coffin by Oko Ataa, the exhibition invites visitors to ponder the mysteries of life and death in a deeply introspective and sensory journey.
